Unlimited Opportunity for the Commited Few

It's impossible to project first year earnings for new agents entering the business.  The following describes

a pattern of earnings that someone might reasonably expect in the first year in the business.  This estimate isn't based on factual information from the past, its strictly a ball park guess and there are many examples of new agents doing much better, even in their first year.

FIRST YEAR

First three months:  1 Closed Escrow

                                   1 Commission Check based

on an average selling price of

                                   $275,000 at a reasonable

                                   starting commission split of 60%.

                                   Personal Earnings     $4,555

Second Three Months:     2 Closed Escrows

                                              2 Commission Checks, same

                                              assumptions as above.

                                               Personal Earnings     $9,110

Next 6 Months:   6 Closed Transactions, same as above

               Personal Earnings     $27,324

The estimate above is conservative, many do much better and those last 6 transactions would have been paid at 70%.

SECOND YEAR

There are lots of examples of 2nd year earnings of $60,000, $70,000 and above.
